Meet the Team

Come and meet the Mallard Grange Farm-ily!

Charles & Maggie

Charles is a second-generation farmer at Mallard Grange, following in his fathers footsteps.

He is passionate about history, enjoys country sports and spending time with his two Sons and beloved Cocker Spaniel, Indie.

Maggie introduced farm stays at Mallard Grange, opening the Bed and Breakfast to guests back in 1993, after the birth of her first son James.

She enjoys looking after family, friends and guests, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and riding her horse, Doris.

James

James returned to the family farm back in 2015 after spending three enjoyable years at Harper Adams university, where he made many friends and gained a degree in Agriculture.

He has a real passion for sustainability and is keen to implement innovative techniques to improve soil health and reduce chemical inputs on the farm.

He enjoys country sports, walking with his two, outdoor loving dogs and catching up with friends over a glass (or two) of Port.

William

Following his passion for film and television, Will can now be found in the bright lights of the big city, although he often returns home to visit friends and family on the farm.

Emily

Emily met partner James in 2021 and is still learning the ropes when it comes to farming but is always keen to get stuck in.

With a full time career in financial services and a passion for the great outdoors, Em brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to the table.

When she isn't working or helping out on the farm, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking and tending to the veg garden at home.

Tony

Tony joined the MG family in 2022 along with his 3 sheep dogs Reg, Ruby and Millie.

He is a valuable part time member of the team, looking after a growing flock of sheep and supports during the busy lambing season.

When he is not busy farming, he enjoys spending time with his young family and is keen to own his own flock one day.

Knox

The youngest member of our team, Knox joined in September 2023 and now works full time supporting Charles and James.

Knox is learning new skills and especially enjoys working with the cattle and hens.

He is also very talented behind the lens and takes some incredible photos that really capture farm life throughout the seasons.
